Explo ’72

Many consider Explo ’72, the 1972 Jesus Music Festival, to be the beginning of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). Billy Graham spoke six times at this event in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Over 100,000 were in attendance at this Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) event.
